BROADWAY THEATERS
An "On Broadway" theater is defined not by location, believe it or not, but by the fact of its having more than 465 seats. In general, Broadway theater has been synonymous with the concept "Musicals" for the last 20 years. Most of the "On Broadway Theaters" are located in the "Theater District" which is roughly in and around Times Square.
