Soho (map) and Noho (map) is a great place to go shopping for the edgy fashion forward crowd, though it is a tough place to find parking. Whether you be looking for an edgy shirt to pair with your favorite pair of jeans or a new pair of Cowboy fashion boots head to Soho for some great shopping. Looking to do some shopping for your home or find new fabric to match your curtains to a new bead spread head to Air where you can find French Furniture and Fabrics. The Public Theater is the theater company which puts on the performances such as Joe's Pub and Shakespear in the Park which takes place every spring-summer. Mercer Street Books is a great little book store located on Mercer between Bleeker and Houston. NYU's Tisch School of the Arts is a great place to see performing arts from some of the students at NYU. If you love nature and especially birds you must stop at the New York Audubon Society where you can go on bird-watching outings.
